Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule your appointments. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. When you break your appointment, we are not always able to fill the empty spot without adequate notice.
Fees for
missed appointments:
There
is a full lesson charge for missed appointments without a 24 hour
notice. 48 hour advance
cancellation is preferred and 24 hour is required. If 2 lessons are canceled in a row, your
lesson spot will become available to those on the waiting list.
JGS Show Barn

No charge for feeding service for full training
horses. Costs of feed billed directly to
Midway City Feed. Supplements to be
provided by horse owner in the form of “Smart Paks”. Any necessary medication to be provided by
horse owner.
A 10% commission will be charged on all horse sales and purchases. A double lesson fee will be charged for each day involved in shopping for horses in addition to all travel expenses. (There is no day fee for horses tried at shows.)

Money Classes ……….
10% of Prize Money + Training Fees*
*Trainer/Show Expenses/Stall Splits include total costs of feed, bedding, extra stalls (tack rooms, dressing rooms, cross ties, etc.), golf cart rental, RV parking, hotel, travel expenses, airfare, car rental, etc. added together and divided by the number of horses attending each show.
Entries: All students are responsible for sending in their own entries to the show office or providing them to JGS one week prior to the posted closing date of each show. Once a student commits to a show, other students, groom and trainer depend on their attendance. If a student cancels attendance of any show after the closing date, student is responsible for the groom fees, training fees and stall splits.
Grooms: Recommended tip is $10.00 per day in addition to the regular groom service. Please do not forget to tip your groom at the end of each show! Saddle cleaning and clipping is an additional charge.
Hauling: Rates vary due to the current changing costs of fuel, etc. Prices will be quoted for each show attending prior to leaving.
